Lighthouses have easily captivated the minds of many, for decades. In the northwestern corner of the State of Pennsylvania, there are three active lighthouses of the four that are actually present over at Lake Erie.At the southwest corner and on the Delaware River, which is diagonally across from the State, one can expect to see, no longer, any of the old traditional lighthouses.
Still, a former light station remains in Chester, as well as a privately built beacon that is located in Philadelphia, precisely on the Schuylkill River.
