A bird walk on Oct. 18 will be lead by birding authority Rich Eakin, a Crawford County resident and also a Sharon native. The 2 hours walk will be on the Tsuga Trail of Erie National Wildlife Refuge scheduled to start at 8:30 in the morning. This event will be suitable for new and experienced bird watchers. This will be an offshoot of the National Wildlife Refuge Week.Link: nwpa Outdoors

Erie, Pennsylvania is perhaps too strict when it comes to the properties it opens to anglers. This is what we can decipher after the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission agreed to further ease its conservation policies. Effective next year, Erie will open three more properties to the public.But there are still restrictions. Find out what they are here in this blog post.
